APPLE DESSERT             
SERVES 4

1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
2 cups peeled & chopped
apples
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Whipped cream or ice
cream, optional
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix sugar, flour, baking powder & salt in a
large bowl. Stir in the next 3 ingredients.
Place in shallow, buttered baking dish &
bake 40 minutes, or until a brown crust
forms on top. Serve warm with whipped
cream or ice cream.
